Monique is hosting the color challenge this weekend and her picks are, Saffron, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and White. Aren't they great, she always has some really fresh and pretty color picks, just like her style! So when I heard her colors I thought citrus right away and wanted to use my new Fruity Fun stamp set. It is so cute with 33, yep 33! Stamps! I love it it is so fun for some one like me who loves color! I'm betting I get to use it on a color challenge card more than once! I stamped my own dp using a leaf stamp and a whole orange stamp from the set and one of the sentiments create my focal point that is framed out with a metal and vellum tag. I put the vellum on top of my stamped piece to soften it. I used citrus slices from the set and a silk flower to embellish the card. Both the slices and the oranges on the dp are coated in glitter for some sparkle! This is what I came up with at 1:30 in the morning when, being quite pregnant and getting over a cold, I woke up with severe heartburn and a stuffy nose. I knew laying down was just making it worse so by 3:30 I was almost done and feeling tired but much better! Nothing like using some cute stamps and bright colors to lift your mood!
