Good morning buddies! Hope your day is off to a great start, so far mine is goin pretty well. The little munchkins are even sleeping in long enough for me to do this post! Uh-oh I may have spoken to soon, maybe not. Well before they do wake up here is what I have to share with you today. I hope this card turned out good because I redid it 6 times! The first was a whole different card but the top layers on this one were redone 5 times, I started out with the orange glitter paper from dcwv that is in the background being my pumpkin embossed layer but it was way too much orange, I tried a few different papers on the top layer where the harlequin is and I ended up painting the piece with acrylic paints to get it to match like I wanted. The princess is from my Rosebud Princess collection and the pumpkin I used to embellish the card is from this months FREE stamp of the month at CDS called What A Pane. The tiny pumpkin the princess is carrying was hand drawn and painted, it is not a stamp. When I was using my pumpkin embossing folder last week I just though of the princess and thought the way the folder looked was sort of Cinderella like so that is kinda the idea this card started from. If you want to play along with the MMSC this week and register to win some great prizes go check it out at Priscilla's blog in my sidebar, you'll be glad you did, you'll get lots of great inspiration from the other cards by my DT sisters over there!
On my card you will see paper by Basic Gray and DCWV, ribbon from Hobby Lobby, Sworovski bling*, dazzling diamond glitter, sissix texture plate, cb embossing folder, naturals iveory and chocolate chip cs from SU, watercolor paper watercoloring done with SU markers. Clear Dollar STamps Rosebud Princess and What A Pane.
