Hey guys, Hope the color challenge is going well for those of you who wanted to participate this time. First I just want to send a shout out and a big thank you to all of you for the wonderful compliments I have been given, you are all so great yourselves, it means so much! Today I want to introduce my second card in the Beautiful Butterflies set. What a gorgeous set this is! It is so perfect to use alone, as background or to accompny setiments. I'm not 100% sure about this card but the different elements by themselves I love. So I want to go through them. The dp I don't know what the brand is, I got it from Hobby Lobby a while back and pulled it out becaue I'm getting tired of some of my newer stuff and I always loved it. The paper alone is beautiful, it's retro modern with a really interesting color scheme. The hardware is very cool. I like the way the layout turned out and how the black stitching matches with the dp and pops from the paper. The layered label is cut from the cricut machine, so are the flowers. It is the home decor cartridge which has some awesome elements that go with many stamp sets. My favorite thing of course is the butterflies. I stamped and embossed them onto vellum which in person is an especially beautiful effect. The light shines through and reflects the colors onto the paper and you can see the pattern on both sides of the wings just like a real butterfly. It also kinda looks like stained glass. The problem for me was it all just didn't come together exactly as I had in mind. What do you think? Well, enjoy this beautiful weekend and keep up the good work on the color challenge. Come back Monday to see my choice posted here!
