Tuesday

Thank You & MMSC3

Good morning, I almost forgot it was Tuesday with it being a holiday weekend. the kids being out of school always throws me off a bit. I hope everyones week is off to a great start and that you all got some relaxation yesterday! Today's post is a card made with the new set called Words of Gratitude. If you haven't seen this one it is a must have, we all want to let someone know sometimes how much they are appreciated and this set comes with 10 different sentiments, two of them are pretty big. I went with the simple thank you, but when you need to make a card fast and don't have the time to color in it is perfect for that. The font is really pretty don't ya think? Since I was doing a really simple card without all of the coloring in and dimention I felt like I could go a little busier with my dp and embellishments so I used this gorgeous paper from Basic Gray in the Urban Prairie Pack. I added texture to the green with a cb folder and then brushed it with my black pad. I also used my new label 4 nestie that I got in from CDS last week, love it! And added a tiny flower with a crystal center and a flourish cut from the cricut. There are also ribbon and jeweled brad accents, I wanted to stick with the greens matching the top panel to keep it from becoming to busy with all of the pattern going on! My sketch is actually upside down, but that's ok, Priscilla is very flexible with her sketches and you can flip yours or even change one of the shapes. If you like a challenge go over to her blog or click the Midnight Madness logo on my sidebar, you can see other samples provided by the res of the dt and check out the original sketch. She has Mr. Linky set up on her page so you can play! She also has some great incentives right now so I really encourage you to check it out! Thanks for popping in today! Come back in a couple of days because CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS sneak peeks start this week! Can't wait to show you what's new!!!
