CDS Sneak Peeks Day Two, Little Miss
Good Morning everybody! I hope your weekend so far has been a blast! Mine has been great so far, I actually got to get out and go into Wally World ( yeah, Wal Mart) for the first time since having Izabella. It was like a big adventure, so great tp get out of the house for a minute. Actually it was an adventure, I haven't been in o long they had painted the outside and inside and rearranged the whole store, I couldn't find a thing! I also took a couple of minutes to whip up a quick CAS (for me it is anyway) for the CDS Weekend Color Challenge. You still have time to play, I would love to see your card, keep scrolling down to see mine in my last post, the link to join is in the sidebar to your right!
Now for this card, I followed the sketch challenge given to the DT, I really like it and it's similar to some I've used before. I also thought it fit the shape of this stamp perfectly! And the stamp is the only new release I have this month, again I'll blame that on the baby! I guess she helped inspire it too. With being pregnant I was in the nursery rhyme mood and so I got the ok from Lori to do a series of nursery rhyme inspired stamp sets. This is the first and it is called Get Off Your Tuffet. It comes with several verses. I went with a look reminiscent of what was the style when I was a child because that's when I was reading nursery rhymes. My mom forever had me in pigtails and dresses with a little pinafore and I remember me socks were always falling down. I went in the direction with the design of the card too with the colors and quited panel. She is embossed, painted in watercolors and paper toiled. Please hop over and see the other beautiful samples created bt some of the dt, the ones previewing this set are Cassie, Sarah, Linda A, Candy and Angela, I just love their cards, I think you will too! You should browse all of the dt today though and see all of the other great sets being previewed today and the sets from yesterday designed by our other talented illustrators.
