An Angel for a CIC Color Challenge, the MMSC and Many More!

Hey peeps! I don't know if some of our winter weather is coming from your direction but it so rare around here to get much snow my girls have their fingers crossed are on standby with the coats, hats, and gloves! We'll see.

My card today is for the Clearly Inspired Challenges, this time it's a color challenge, Valentine colors, perfect for this time of year, especially since I still need a couple of V-day cards! I would like to invite you all to play along! Here is the link! I also used the sketch from MMSC38. I love the symmetry of this sketch. The embellishments and corners were a little hard for me because I usually keep my embellishments to the bare minimum , so I shrunk mine down a little from the sketch, hope that was ok. I also kept them colorless so they wouldn't be distracting from my focal point except for the heart.

I used two of my Patchpal stamps on these, the Angel and Heart. The dp is Basic Gray, SU border punch(LOVE IT!),at you Spica glitter pens, nesties and CB folder.

I'm entering this card in these following challenges also,so check them out before you start your next card!
MMSC 38- sketch
KL Stampin and Scrapin Challenges- nesties, punches or dies
Creative Inspirations- feminine
Creative Card Crew- punch it

What a beautiful card. Your colouring is perfect. And I'm impressed to see you've mastered the SU!border punch and corner punch. I have been playing around with mine and I think I finally have 2 that I can use. It seems when I have to repunch to line up the edge punch, the loops punched from the corner punch get punched again and get skinnier(not sure if this makes sense). Practice makes perfect though. I will continue but it hurts to use good cardstock and then not make a perfect cut. thanks for sharing your card.

So funny, Shawne how those that don't get snow long for it so much, and those of us that get it all the time can't wait to get rid of it. It was 2 degrees here this morning! Want to trade?

Your card is fabulous. You know how much I love the pinks. You colored your image perfectly, and she is so adorable. I love that around the page punch too. Love seeing you playing with us at the MMSC again. We miss you alot. Hope you can play again soon.
