How Bout Some Monkey Love?

!!!*****PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO THE NEXT POST TO SIGN UP FOR MY BLOG CANDY*****!!!
Good morning ladies! I'm gonna try to make this post quick, I was up waaaaay to late finishing up this one and I think if I sit here to long I'll start falling asleep! I was worried these pics would be bad, I was holding a very wiggly baby in my arms, thank goodness for steady shot! LOL! Only the close up is a little blurry, sorry about that. I'm so glad I got this one done though because I had the hardest time on it and was afraid I was going to get done and hate it. Have you ever had in mind the kind of dp you wanted to use and nothing was just right? That was the case with me. Finally I settled on this one because it was brown at least and the pattern was right... but it just kept bugging me that the colors weren't as bright as I wanted and in the end I couldn't settle so I took the extra time to paint the flowers in the bg the colors that I thought they should be. Then I was happy and could move on. :) Anal I know, but I just can't help it. I also pulled out this wood paper from McMahon 5 Designs, my friend Sue's store, that is GORGEOUS!!! I was so glad I finally found the perfect card to use it on. I dared my poor sewing machine to sew on it and guess what? It did! It also embossed beautifully in my cb folder! The paper in he bg and that I used to make the leaves are both from K&Co. and I used a dew drop to accent the flower and laced some hemp twine through a couple of bras. It is watercolored with SU markers on watercolor paper. This is one of my new stamps released this month called Monkey Love. My daughter actually came in and saw this card and was loving it so I'm going to give it ti her for Valentines day, it kinda matches her room so I think we'll frame it. That's about it, scroll down to check out my blog candy and have a great great weekend!

Okay, now this is adorable! I love how you changed the paper-those bright flowers are perfect!

BTW-I'm thinking threading some hemp twine through your bras might be uncomfortable...glad you used brads instead, LOL! Blame the wiggle baby!
