A Bright Hi!
Hello blogger buddies! Hows it goin? Busy packing here, I've got 9 days left to move and I'm about half way through. Saving my studio for last, I think it will take as much time as the rest of the house! LOL! You guys know where I'm comin from! So my card today is for my SHC2 CHALLENGE, there is still almost a week left to play, I would love for you to join me and it is so easy, this week is bright or bold colors and patterns, inspired by pschadelic prints which are suppose to be one of the hottest new trends in home decor this season. Pretty fun huh? You can combine it with other challenges and it doesn't have to be a digi from Studio 313, but if you have one I would love for you to use it! You will be in the drawing for 25.00 in digi images from my new store just for playing!
The dp on my card is my newest digi dp called Modern Flowers Retro Brights and another set using a dp called Caffinated Stripes.I printed on two different papers from the Paper Temptress but went with the Neenah Solar white. You can see in the last pic the difference you get when you print digi dp on different types of paper, which to me is one of the fun thins about it! On the Solar white the color is much darker and more saturated (better I thought for this challenge!)but on the White Diamond text is softer but has a beautiful shimmer in real life. I used the Stardreams Flame which has always been one of my favorite papers because of the shimmer and the rich orange color (you know not to primary, it is more earthy)as an accent. You can get yours at the Paper Temptress store here! The other cs is su Olive and Teal. I added a flower from the Modern Flowers collection in black line art and colored it w/ Prisma Pencils to dot my i.
