CDSWC9!

Hi everybody, how is Monday? Great I hope! Well this is the hardest part of hosting the CDSWC, choosing the card to feature. As you can see I decided to show a couple because, it was just to hard. They were all so great, I included links to all of the cards so that you could see them all and be inspired by them. Each one had some unique and inspiring feature! Even as I'm typing this I'm still trying to narrow it down!

Here are my finally choices; Joan for antique oven card. There was so much texture on this card, every little detail was finished off to perfection. The buttons were so pretty and the background that she put them on just worked so perfectly. Not only was it for this color challenge, she completed 4 challenges on this one card! Whew! How hard would that be!!!

I also featured Stephanie's bear card, the colors on it look so soft and the bear is so sweet and colorful with his little paper pieced ball. It was precious! It also has the beautiful blush colored buttons that are the perfect addition to accent this card!
http://farmfilly.blogspot.com/ , Codi's card has very pretty punched edges that I know from experience it is hard to get those corners to line up right, somehow she did!
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1265520?cat=500&ppuser=129544 , Gloria's card features beautifully painted and framed flowers and has great texture!
http://www.papercraftplanet.com/photo/autumn-fun?context=user , Katie's Adorable Autumn Fun Monkey was great! A really neat way to include your sentiment is in the way she did her border's!
http://cassietrstamping.blogspot.com/2009/03/really-hard-color-challenge.html , Cassie's Charlie Daisy is adorable with a really cool embossed flower you have to go to her blog and read about this cool technique!

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1267434?cat=500&ppuser=57579 , Candy's simple sympathy with pretty borders and button would be a great one to case when you need a card quick. It is simple done beautifully!
http://stampingwithmonique.blogspot.com/2009/03/cds-weekend-colour-challenge-9.html, Moniques card was the perfect example of simple elegance, it wa stunning. Plus you have to go to her blog to find out how to create your own buttons to match any project! very cool!
I can't thank you enough for joining me in this week's Clear Dollar stamps Color Challenge. It was a lot of fun getting to see all of the wonderful, inspiring and unique variations on this color scheme! If you didn't get to play but would like to don't forget CDS will have it every weekend on PCP! I believe next weekend will be hosted by Laurie, it should be another great challenge for sure, see you there!- Shawne
