Thursday

Yay! I finally got a new post up! Not usually a huge cause for celebration, I know, but at the moment it feels like a huge accomplishment!

I loved this new set so much that even though I'm suppose to sort of be on maternity leave I wanted it and couldn't wait to use it! The only problem was.. which image to choose? It comes with lot's of different goodies to fill your jar; cookies, jelly beans, candy corn, marbles, flower, a fish and even bugs! (caught a bug?) Too cute!

Well, I knew I needed to use a card base that I had made before going on my "leave" so I went with the flowers and added the marbles to the bottom. I thought the marbles and the glass jar color went perfectly with the paper I had used on this one. So all I had left to do was stamp and color the image and make a panel for it and add some embellies. Easy peasy right? Would you believe it took me four days to get that done and take the pictures!?! I can't complain, at least I got to brush my teeth today, I think..no I'm kidding!LOL!

It gives me something to do though while I sit feeding the baby....now if only I could get a minute to stamp some more I could work on the painting and cutting while I feed her and maybe get another post up by the end of next week! ;)

I don't want to forget to remind you that this set is available for a limited time at only 9.99 after August the 31st it will go back up to the regular price of 14.99! Visit CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS today if you want to add this adorable and versatile set to your collection!

Beautiful marbles, Shawne!! LOL... I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks out of the box like that. I realized later that they're actually supposed to be gumballs. :-) LOL!!

*Love* your card. It's just beautiful!!!! Your details are so intricate and the coloring is just scrumptious. TFS. :-)

Oh, gumballs! Okay. Well, this way it's even more versatile, marbles or gumballs! When I was little my grandparents kept a jar of marbles, I just loved looking at them, all the beautiful colors and swirly patterns....

This is beautiful!! What a fun design and all of your gorgeous papers, stitching and distressing looks amazing!! Hope you get a bit of crafty time, but new babies don't allow for much of that!! But what you have posted looks fantastic!! Congrats, by the way!!

Shawne this is beautiful. I LOVE the way you colored it. I really struggle with the edges and sponging like that. Your card is fantastic. I really like the beads you chose too. WOW girl. All that and feeding a baby too. You are multitasking well...Hugs.
