Hey everybody I finally got my computer back! Whoo hoo! So glad! I've been lost all week. So I promised the picture of the other card using the Art Deco Medallions set the very next day but as you know the next day for me was a long time coming but here it is. Like I said a completely different looking card with that same set huh? It was fun stretching it's versatility. I'm sure more different looks could be achieved with it and I'm just so happy to have it, I love it. This is an eastern Sari inspired card using, teal, tangerine, red, eggplant, kiwi, and gold as an accent color. I stamped the back grounds using some of the smaller stamps from the set then stamped the little individual pieces using some slightly larger stamps. The were all arranged then sewn on. Bit of advice ( I learned the hard way, if you try this at home keep the adhesive to a small spot in the center! I used a lot, really gunked up my machine needle and kept snapping my thread. Therefore the sewing took FOREVER!). Last I stamped the bigger medallion and it was embossed, glittered and embellished with a crystal and some gold brads.

Off to do some house work! Have a great weekend. I'll post more on Monday so comeback and check out the weekend color challenge entries from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS!

Wow, Shawne, this is just. . .amazing. You have such a gift for creating. It blows my mind (and obviously I play with paper A LOT), that you do the things you do with paper. Your work is so. . .amazing.
